AUSTIN / USA : Time Warner Cable Internet....SUCKS!

    http://www.wired.com/wiredenterprise/2013/01/google-fiber-shaming-exercise/

For almost 2 hours...this news blog was virtually shut down...because Time Warner Cable's wifi wouldn't connect!
    And...it happens often.
    Too often!
Austinites can only dream about Google's deal with Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas for super fast wifi...or its new wifi gift for NYC's Chelsea neighborhood.
Oh...to still live in Mt View, California...where wifi...thanks to neighbor Google...is FREE!
Or...eStonia...which some say is the globe's most wired nation.
Or...South Korea....where it costs just $30 per month for fiber access.
    Austin...is stuck with 2 slowpokes...terrible Time Warner...or greedy behemoth...ATT.
Of course...it doesn't help that this news blog is created on a wifi-only Google Chrome netbook.
A new Macbook Pro...or a Sony Vaio would be a nice change.
     One can dream.
ALSO : Professor argues that it's time  for USA to treat broadband access...as a public utility...like water and electricity.
