In a bizarre failed crime...3 armed intruders briefly held Giuseppe Spinelli, 71...a close friend and the accountant of ex-PM Silvio Berlusconi...along with his wife...in their apartment.
The kidnappers made Spinelli telephone Berlusconi and demand 35 million euros/$44 million...from the former billionaire PM for their release.
They also promised to deliver some allegedly helpful tax documents.
So far...6 people have been arrested.
