Hurricane Isaac tearing across Cuba got MFM thinking about a favorite beach there.
    Not Veradero.
    Too commercial...and way overrated.
    Instead...it's beautiful near Baracoa.
And...swimming distance from Haiti...if you are Diana Nyad.
Isolated Baracoa was certainly sloshed....and maybe even trashed...after Isaac passed over...tragically killing 24 in Haiti...and 5 in the DR.
Baracoa is where Columbus reportedly landed in the New World.
The little burg seems almost backward...but that's its great charm.
Not much music there...unlike La Habana...where today's salsa/jazz selection comes from.
Called 'Rotorofo Fight'...with a Louie Vega Remix...it's a product of BBC DJ Gilles Peterson.
Peterson has produced 2 Cuban music CDs.
This song has lively vocals, tambores/drums...and plenty of energy...just like the big city...La Habana.
