PERU: 30 May UPDATE: 4 Dead, 50 Injured In XStrata Mine Protest; State Of Emergency Declared.

     Peru has declared a 30 day state of emergency...in the Espinar province...where Xstrata's Tintaya copper mine is located...after 4 were killed...and more than 50 injured during roadblock protests...including dozens of police.
     A week long strike at the mine in the mountains south of Cusco...blocked transport...but mine operations have continued.
     Protesters complain of widespread pollution.. and want Xstrata to make larger financial contributions.
