SLOVENIA : Voters Reject Gay Adoption Law.

      A low turnout...26%...may have doomed a referendum that would have allowed same sex couples to adopt children in some cases.
     The new family law...opposed by conservatives and the Catholic Church...was defeated with only 45% support.
     Unlike Balkan neighbors Croatia and Serbia...since 2006...Slovenia has officially recognized  same sex relationships.
