The wonderful thing about YouTube...is discovering new musicians.
So much easier...than Pandora..at least here in the USA.

I was searching for an old version of 'No Vale La Pena'... recorded long ago on a cassette mix tape...to share here on MFM...when I found a singer just called...'Consuelo'...doing a version.
It turns out that there are many Consuelos!
Some Googling finally revealed her full name...Consuelo Barroso...and she apparently hails from Mallorca.
She has a strong voice...here accompanied only by guitar...and rhythmic clapping so common in Spanish flamenco.
Sometimes its nice to visit the motherland of Latin music.

BTW...I never found my taped version of 'No Vale'.
But highly recommended...is Consuelo's 4:01 performance of 'No Vale La Pena'...with static foto.
