     Controversial self-appointed peace negotiator...former Senator Piedad Cordoba...has fled the country after a growing number of death threats.
     Cordoba was banned from public office for 18 years...because the government claims she helped FARC and ELN rebels.
    Cordoba also has ties with Venezuela President Hugo Chavez.
