For decades on 17 August, thousands of neo-Nazis pilgrims have converged on the small Bavarian town of Wunsiedal...where Nazi Deputy Rudolph Hess was buried.
With the family's permission, officials recently removed the tomb and headstone... and had his exhumed bones cremated and scattered at sea.
In 2004, some 4,500 skinheads marched thru the 10,000 population town.
Hess committed suicide in 1987 at age 93...after 40 years in jail.
