Another suspect has been detained...in the recent brutal murders of 2 French female tourists.
Police say he is a local resident.
Previously, the police had detained another man...but later released him.
The bodies were reportedly "viciously" murdered...and found by other tourists near a popular hiking trail in northern Salta Province.
The victims were identified as Houria Moumni, 23 and Cassandre Bouvier, 29.
They were both students at France's Latin America Studies Center.
They were last seen at their hostel in Salta on 16 July.
One victim may also have been sexually assaulted.
