VENEZUELA: Police Ask Convicted Murderer To Intervene In Prison Siege; Police Arrest 2 Prison Officials.

Desperate officials want José Argenis Sánchez, a convicted murderer of 6, former gang leader and now a born-again preacher, to help end a long and bloody mutiny at the El Rodeo prison...where 29 have died so far.


Since 12 June,  about 1,200 prisoners have been inside one prison block with thousands of police surrounding it.


ALSO: Police arrested two of the prison's directors on drug and arms trafficking charges.
