A "consolation caravan" led by poet Javier Sicilia with about 1,500 followers finally reached Cd. Juarez.
It had started from Cuernavaca, south of Mexico City... a distance of 2,500km/1,550 miles.
In Juarez, 20 victims' relatives gave speeches attacking police for not doing their job.
"Do your jobs, stop humiliating the citizens of Juarez, and do justice to so many who have died," Sicilia said.
Many want the government to remove all military forces and enforce asset forfeiture laws to block money laundering.
