BBC/
At least 55,000 and perhaps as many as 70,000 people marched in front of parliament as the opposition party called for new elections in two months-- or face civil disobedience.
It was Serbia's biggest protest in years.
The next general election is not scheduled until 2012.
The protest was peaceful protest but riot police stood by.
Since 2008, a 10-party coalition has been in power led by President Boris Tadic and PM Mirko Cvetkovic.
