A La Habana court sentenced 13 workers in the deaths of 26 mental patients during a January 2010 cold snap.
Hospital director Wilfredo Castillo got the longest sentence of 15 years for "misappropriation" and "dereliction of duty."
The other sentences ranged from 5 to 15 years.
Defendants may appeal their sentences to the Supreme Court.
More than 30 patients died during the cold spell, many perishing later at other hospitals but not included in the official toll.
