Ukraine's former Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn, an ally of former P.M. Yulia Tymoshenko now alleged by Ukraine prosecutors to have misused million in funds, has been granted political asylum and set free.
The Czech police arrested him 20 on Oct. 20.
Danylyshyn was alleged to have abused official powers, incurring million in losses for building an airport parking lot after only one company bid for the contract.
He was also accused of illegally buying fuel for the army in 2008.
In August 2009, Interpol issued an international arrest warrant.
