UKRAINE: Struggling To Pay For $3.3 Billion Euro 2012 Soccer Construction.
BLOOMBERG/ Ukraine has less than two years to finish stadiums in Lviv and Kiev, redo airports and railway stations, and build hotels it promised when it won a joint bid for the Euro 2012 Soccer Championship with Poland. The projected costs of $3.3 billion project are straining the nation after a severe recession.
