M.PRESS/ A new report claims that at its current consumption rate, Argentina will exhaust its natural gas supply... in seven and a half years. The report coincides with recent reductions and blackouts imposed on manufacturing by the government to ensure enough supply for homes stressed by severe winter temperatures.
Natural gas production has been falling since 2004 and in 2009 was equivalent to 48.413 million cubic meters, down 7.3% in the period.
