Her resurgence could set the stage for the return of her husband and former president Nestor for a October 2011 election. Cristina's government has amassed a multibillion-dollar budgetary war chest for patronage and public spending. Nestor Kirchner was mostly written off a year ago after his legislative ticket was outpolled in midterm elections.
