ARGENTINA: 9 Dead From Polar Cold ; 33 Dead From Faulty Heaters.

LAHT/      For three days, freezing temperatures have blanketed the entire country, even bringing heavy snow and directly killing 9 people so far. "The wave of cold air from the polar region continues to affect all Argentine territory with intense frost and temperatures as low as -14 C (7 F) in central Patagonia and the nation’s central region, and between 0 C (32 F) and -3 C (27 F) in northern Argentina.”
Besides the nine who died from freezing temperatures, 33 people – 11 of them minors – have perished from carbon monoxide poisoning due to faulty heating systems.
