POLAND: Funeral May Be Staging Ground For Twin Brother's Political Resurgence.
BLOOMBERG/ The state funeral in Krakow for Polish President Lech KaczynskI offers a chance for twin brother Jaroslaw to shine and possibly replace his brother. “Practically the only interesting question in Polish politics right now is whether Jaroslaw Kaczynski can take it,” says commentator Cezary Michalski. Another observer Wojciech Jablonski says “The decision to have the burial at Wawel Castle in effect mean mourning’s over and the presidential election campaign has begun. The way this was handled suggests it will be a no-holds-barred campaign.”
