MEXICO: 1ST UPDATE: Sinaloan Narco Thugs Terrorize Border Towns.
NYTIMES/ 1ST LINK UPDATE/18 Abril/ Hundreds of families have fled cotton-farming towns in the Juarez Valley, 50 miles of borderland east of Ciudad Juarez as the Sinaloa drug gang attempts to eliminate interference with its operations. The Sinaloa gang, led by Joaquin" El Chapo" Guzman, reportedly seized control of the region's smuggling corridors after a two-year battle with the Juarez gang.
