Acting Honduran President Roberto Micheletti will allow Congress to decide if ousted President Manuel Zelaya can return to power.
Under the agreement, Congress would have the final say on Zelaya’s restitution, though not before considering the opinion of the Supreme Court.
“This is the beginning of the process of reinstating democracy,” Zelaya told reporters.
