Argentina Pays $2.25 Billion Bond Debt...Seeking New Investors.

Argentina has been excluded from capital markets since December 2001, when the country suffered an economic collapse that wiped out personal savings, shredded government finances and had Buenos Aires defaulting on its debt.

By repaying that debt, the nation hopes to boost investor confidence.
