News presenter Tatyana Limanova will no longer read the news on Russia's REN-TV.
She has been canned.
During a routine afternoon news program...while reading an item about Russian President Medvedev assumingan Asian regional chairmanship...Limanova noted that the post "has (previously) been held by Barack Obama"...and she raised her arm and her middle finger...in an insulting salute to Obama...aka..."flipping/giving him the bird."
It seems that only Putin/Medvedev are allowed to insult world leaders... and especially the USA.
The network... owned by friends of Putin...called her behavior 'unprofessional.'
