MEXICO : 980 Police Are Sacked For Corruption In Veracruz State.

     Officials announced that 980 police officers have been fired recently after failing lie detector and other corruption tests in the state of Veracruz.
     Also...so far...only 27% of the 6,000 police force have been tested for corruption.
     Last week, President Calderon declared in a NYTIMES interview that Veracruz state had been turned over to the brutal narcos Los Zetas by its governor.
