Student Camila Vallejo's celebrity has been elevated since her first profile in the UK's GUARDIAN several months ago...as the leader demanding educational reform in Chile.
Apparently, the police there have also been following her growing international status.
Vallejo believes police directed water cannons and tear gas attacks specifically against her and others leaders in the most recent protest.
She reported that she suffered an allergic reaction from the chemicals...and was briefly
paralyzed.
