Expectations were great in Bulgaria when Dilma Rousseff was elected president of Brasil more than 9 months ago.
Officials hoped Dilma would send some investment money to Sofia.
“What Kind of Check Will Dilma Bring?” headlined Sofia's newspaper.
Because Dilma's father, Petar Rousseff, fled Bulgaria in 1929.
But not all is coming-up roses.
Some relatives there claim he left behind unpaid debts from a bankrupt textile company...and a pregnant wife he never saw again.
