VENEZUELA: Chavez Names Zelaya To PetroCaribe Post.

MERCO PRESS/     Recently deposed Honduran President Manuel Zelaya has been appointed by Hugo Chavez to head the “Political Council” of PetroCaribe, a Venezuelan-led energy consortium. The Political Council's goal is to defend "the independence and democracy in the PetroCaribe continent.”
