CROATIA: Economy Tanked 5.8%, Most Since Balkan Wars.
BUSINESS WEEK/ Croatia’s economy slumped badly by 5.8% in 2009, the most since the Balkan wars in the 1990s. Its GDP gained 2.4% in 2008 and advanced 5.5% in 2007.
