BRASIL: New Wind Farm Planned For Rio Grande Do Sul Coast.
LAHT/ A 70 MW wind farm that can produce an estimated 211,437 megawatt-hours annually is scheduled for completion by late this year in Rio Grande do Sul. The Tramandai Wind Farm will be Brasil's third largest after Osorio, also in Rio Grande do Sul, and Camocim in Ceara, both the largest in Latin America. The $133 million wind farm will have 31 turbines.
