Evo Morales was sworn-in as president proclaiming Bolivia a new
“plurinational” state. His nearly 2-hour long speech was attended by Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, Rafael Correa of Ecuador, Michelle Bachelet of Chile, Fernando Lugo of Paraguay, Spain’s Crown Prince Felipe and representatives of Cuba, Colombia and Peru.
