RUSSIA : Dissident Navalny's Embezzlement Trial Begins 17 April In Kirov.


     Anti-corruption blogger/lawyer Alexei Navalny, 36...will be tried for the first time... beginning 17 April in remote Kirov.
     The prominent Putin opponent is charged with embezzlement in a 2009 deal...that involved a loss of over $500,000.
