BRASIL : Soaring Inflation And Prices...Again Haunt Brasil.
NPR's new Brasil reporter...veteran Lourdes Garcia-Navarro reports about soaring prices...from Sao Paulo.
She says she paid almost 12 reis/$6.00 for a large Starbucks latte there...that costs only $4.55 in Austin.
Oft feared inflation has broken thru the Cbank's 6.5% upper target.
Shockingly...an average Sao Paulo pizza costs $30-$40...due to the soaring price of tomatoes...up 122% since 2012.
In Austin...you can always get a fresh, large, hot 2-topping take-home pizza...for about $8.00.
