RUSSIA : Smokers Get Ready...And Angry...Over Probable Ban.
Compared to the USA and the EU...cigarettes are still cheap in Russia...only $1.33-$2 per pack.
But...tougher smoking regulations may kick-in there next year...and kick out all smokers from many restaurants, the metro and even bars.
Russia's lower house has passed a draft law that bans smoking in many public places.
Predictably...smokers are already getting upset.
About 40% of the adult populace smokes...and 400,000 Russians die every year from smoking related diseases.
Even tobacco rich and famous Cuba has passed a law banning public smoking.
