     On Wednesday...the 300 meter/1,000 ft wide icy rock passed just 14 million kms/9.3 mn miles near earth.
     But...after some previous miscalculations...scientists say there is a small chance it will collide with earth...in 2036.
     That impact would be like 500 megatons of TNT.
     Apophis was first discovered in 2004...and its mass has been upgraded by 75%.
