KAZAKHSTAN / CANADA: Almaty Plane Crash Kills 21.

      A small SCAT Airlines jet plunged to the ground in the fog near Almaty's airport...killing all 16 passengers and 5 crew.

      The Canadian-made Bombardier Challenger CRJ-200 was built in 2000...and its flight recorder was recovered from the wreckage.

      Witnesses say there was no fire or explosion.
      The plane can carry up to 50 passengers.
