A Krakow bus driver...identified only as Miroslaw, 45...was sentenced to 15 years for the brutal murder of UK exchange student Catherine Zaks, 21...in July 2011.
Zaks...a Kent University student...was returning home late at night from an internship at an art gallery...when the bus driver lost his temper...and bludgeoned her to death with a rubber pipe...dumping her body near railroad tracks.
Miroslaw's lawyers will appeal the conviction...seeking a lesser charge of manslaughter.
