MEXICO : 20 Dec UPDATE: 15 Inmates, 9 Guards Killed During Durango Prison Break Attempt.

     At least 24 died...after inmates attempted escapes from a prison in Gomez Palacio.
     9 guards were killed from inmate gunfire...while 13 inmates were shot dead during the 'massive' jail break attempt.
     Several more convicts are listed in serious condition.
     Security forces have emptied the prison...removing some 500 inmates.
