Another expensive rig has arrived off Cuba's coast...to continue the so far futile search for oil there.
This rig...the Songa Mercur...is owned by Norway's...Songa Offshore...and will be paid for by Russia's Zarubezneft oil.
The proposed well will be deep...some 6,500 meters/ 21,300 feet down...reports GRANMA.
However...experts say the new site is considered less promising than 3 previous locales...that all proved commercially nonviable.
