      New short visits...and a video tour...seen by journalists of an 8 level underground Muslim sect residence in Kazan...shows none of the horrible conditions described by local officials.
      It now raises the question of motives for the apparent distortions.       Police say members of the Muslim sect forced 20 children and 38 adults to live in terrible conditions under an illegal house in the city of Kazan.
      It was alleged that some of the children had never seen daylight.

      Some members were charged with cruelty against kids.
      The sect's founder Faizrakhman Sattarov, 83...and several parents were arrested.

     The children have been sent to an orphanage.
