Sadly...acid attacks on women are all too common in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
But...that extreme violence is now also occurring with regularity...in Colombia.
Shockingly...55 acid attacks were recorded in 2010... and 42 in 2011.
So far in 2012...officially 22 women were assaulted with acid...but NGOs say more than 100 have taken place.
