An estimated 80,000-100,000 public sector workers walked out during a one day strike...the largest in 20 years.
The strike was called by 23 unions...and closed schools, libraries and offices.
The new center right government led by PM Jansa wants a 7.5% reduction in state wages...to lower the budget deficit.
