PANAMA : Lack Of Skilled Workers Will Stunt Growth; Poor Education System Blamed.

                                         REUTERS/ CA

Panama's GDP is projected to grow by 9% in 2011.
But out of 139 nations, Panama's primary education ranks only 129...even though Panama spends more on education than Chile...reports the IMF.
Its service sector is already suffering a tight market.
And the estimated 7% future growth will be in jeopardy...if Panama cannot fill some 90,000 skilled jobs in coming years.
