COLOMBIA: Despite Good Economy And Good PR...Widespread Killings Continue.

                                       LATIMES / C.KRAUL

There is no disputing that Colombia has made security gains in the past decade.
But dozens of labor leaders, politicians and human rights workers have been killed there this year.
The right wing paras have turned into criminal gangs...forcing peasants off their lands, extorting businesses and working with narcos...and even leftist rebels.
President Santos recently announced an additional $800 million would be spent on security in the next four years including 20,000 more police.
