BRASIL: Violence Grows In Northeast; Salvador Struggles Vs Drugs.

      The murder rate in northeast Brasil has doubled in a decade.
      And, massive number of tourists will soon be arriving for the World Cup...and Olympics.
     “Salvador, right now, is not ready for the World Cup by any stretch, and they are starting to realize that,” states a travel agent.
     So in Salvador, authorities are copying Rio’s recent successes against crime by putting permanent police units in areas frequented by drug traffickers.
