Colombia's 2010 rainy season was the worst in 60 years.
But luckily the horrible flooding did not affect most of the flower-growing areas.
Colombia will export around 500 million Valentine's Day flowers this year, with almost 90 per cent going to the U.S.
More than 28 flights daily will be sending flowers to the United States before the holiday to fill store shelves.
