VENEZUELA: 31Jan. UPDATE: 1 Dead, 40 Injured, 10,000 Evacuated After Maracay Military Depot Explosion.

     An explosion at the military depot of a gun company near Maracay  killed at least one, injured  40 and forced the evacuation of 10,000 nearby residents.
   The local press reported that 8 are being held for interrogation. A spokesman said that no theory about the cause of the blasts can be ruled out at this time because Venezuela is a country “threatened” from abroad and within its territory there exist “groups that act in an insane manner.”
