PARAGUAY/ BOLIVIA: Evo Foe Ex-Governor Mario Cossio Gets Amnesty.

C.PRESS/

Mario Cossio has been granted political refugee status from corruption charges in Bolivia by a Paraguayan commission.
The former governor of gas rich Tarija state, Cossio faced 8 years in prison on allegations of dereliction of duty and causing economic damage.
Cossio has claimed that Morales "wants to demolish everything that opposes it in order to have total power."
A recent Bolivian law permits  public officials to be removed solely by the filing of criminal charges.
Cossio is at least the third Morales opponent to be ousted under the law.
