ARGENTINA: Farmers Begin 7-Day Strike Over Export Curbs.

M.PRESS /

Farmers have stopped selling wheat, corn and soy for 7 days in a strike over export curbs.
They are protesting the government's export limits implemented to hold down inflation and provide residents affordable supplies of  staples.
A similar dispute in 2008 helped send global grains prices to record highs.
Renewed strikes could  derail President Cristina Fernandez's 2012 re-election bid.
