BOLOVIA: Mother Sells Her Newborn for $140.
BBC/ A young mother in Cochabamba has admitted selling her newborn for 1,000 bolivianos/$140 USD to a woman unable to bear a child. Jesusa Molle claimed at first that her child had been stolen from a maternity ward but later admitted she had sold the child to 35-year-old Evangelina Suarez. Molle said she was abandoned by her husband and could not afford to support the child.
