US Savings Growing at Fastest Pace ...in 15 Years.

Americans are building their savings... at the fastest pace in 15 years.

The trend may retard economic growth... in 2010 and beyond.

Data shows that the household savings rate rose to 6.9 percent in May, the highest since December 1993. The rate in April 2008 was zero.
